I've won a Michigan Lottery prize. What do I do now?
Congratulations on your win. The next step is claim your money, and the procedure depends on a couple of things – how much you have won, and whether you played online or in-store. Go to the Claiming Prizes page to learn what you need to do.
Remember that the only way to win a lottery prize is to buy a ticket and match the winning numbers. If you have been contacted by someone to say you have won, but you have not even played, it is a scam.
Can I still claim if my ticket has been lost or damaged?
If you’ve played in-store, sign your ticket and keep it safe as you won’t be able to claim a prize if you lose it and can’t prove you are a winner. You may be able to claim a prize with a damaged ticket, so take it to a lottery retailer to see if it can be validated. If you play online, your numbers are automatically kept safe and checked after a draw.
I've found an old ticket. Can I still claim my prize?
You can only claim lottery prizes within a year of a draw taking place. If you find a ticket that is older than a year, you won’t be able to collect any prizes it may have been due.
