Daily 5 is a lottery draw game that offers Michigan residents the chance to win prizes up to $50,000. By choosing up to 5 numbers, players can receive prizes multiple ways depending on the winning combination.

This lottery offers two draws for you to try your luck in. The first is the Midday draw, taking place at 12:59 PM, and the second is the Evening draw, at 7:29 PM. Playslips can be purchased from all authorized Michigan Lottery retailers, while the most recent results are available below.

How to Play

Playing Daily 5 is easy but, remember that you can only play this draw game in-person from a Michigan Lottery authorized retailer. However, you can still get familiar with the game by following the steps below before you play.

Pick your five numbers to play, from 0 to 9. These numbers can be used more than once for your playslip, but if you want to pick randomly, then you can opt for a Quick Pick. You can play up to 5 panels per playslip

Choose which draws you would like to enter between the Midday (MID) and Evening (EVE), or BOTH, and how many you would like to enter. You can enter up to a maximum of 60 consecutive draws

Pay for your ticket at the retailer

You also have the option to use the numbers again from the previous draw. All you need to do is give the old ticket to a retailer and ask them for a Replay, and your ticket will be reprinted to use in the next draw. Tickets can only be replayed within 31 days of their creation.

Ticket Sale Cut-Off Times

Players can purchase tickets for the Midday draw in-stores until the close of play at 12:39 p.m. Sales continue at 12:41 PM. For the Evening draw, tickets are available to buy up until 7:08 PM, after the draw, sales will resume at 7:10 p.m.

Bet Types

With multiple bet types for the Michigan Daily 5, you’ll always have plenty of ways to win. The different options to play will affect how big your prize will be.

Straight

To win a Straight bet, your selected numbers will need to match the drawn numbers, in the exact order. For example, if your numbers are 12345, you can only win if the numbers are drawn in the order 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Box

You will win a Box bet type if your numbers match those drawn, but in any order. Box bets are either 5-Way, 10-Way, 20-Way, 30-Way, 60-Way, or 120-Way. Prizes for this bet type will depend on the numbers selected, for example, if you use same numbers more than once on the same ticket. For example, using a 5-way bet and the numbers 11112 have the winning combinations 11112, 12111, 11211, 11121 and 21111.

Wheel

A Wheel allows players to place a $1.00 straight bet onto all different number combination possible in the draw. A Wheel is considered either; 5-way for $5.00, 10-way for $10.00, 20-way for $20.00, 30-way for $30.00, 60-way for $60.00, or a 120-way for $120.00.

2-Way (Straight/Box)

2-way wagers are split evenly into a $0.50 Straight and a $0.50 Box bet

1-Off

1-Off bets allow you to match all numbers in the exact drawn order, except for one number that is up or down. For example, if you choose 12345 then your winning combinations are 02345, 11345, 12245, 12335, 12344, 12346, 12355, 12445, 13345, 22345.

How to Claim a Daily 5 Prize

If you win with Michigan Daily 5 you’ll have up to one year after the draw date to claim your prize. If the year passes with nobody claiming the ticket, the entire amount will be distributed in-line with the Michigan Lottery’s state regulations.
